Howdy Johnny,
I was watching a couple of your Facebook videos, noticed your Aleyas mandolin. How do you compare it to your Red Diamond July 9R? A few weeks ago you gave me a tip on a Red Diamond July9R at Morgan Music, thanks. I'm still looking for a really good high end mandolin. Cotton Music has a new Aleyas for 8K, while the RD at Morgan Music is 14.5K. Do you think the extra $ for the Red Diamond is worth it compared to the Aleyas? Happy holidays!

Hey Johnny. I bought your Flatiron octave mandolin a few years back. Still sounds great and I play it all the time. Same goes for yourself and the band. You just keep getting better, if that is even possible. Keep it up! -Steve Townsend
I really love the music on Johnny Staats' CDs, and hope to find more! It would also be great if he's ever playing the San Francisco Bay Area, so we could see him live!
Thank you, Gary Lippman
Great evening for your show. Loved all the music. Miss seeing you on your delivery days at the Grantsville Dominion field office since I retired from there.

Message: Hi Johnny, it's midnight here in the UK, and I'm enjoying a glass of Makers Mark listening to some of your great music on Youtube. I was also listening to the brilliant guitar player Tommy Emmanuel' who I was priveliged to see live in the UK in 2012. I searched to see if you had ever duetted with him. That would be awesome. Is there any chance you would be coming to the UK any time soon? I worked for UPS here in the UK from Carlisle for 25 years, as a package car driver, and latterly as a feeder driver until I retired 6 years ago. Happy days. Keep aiming high, getting the big picture, and come on over and make sure we see you! Keep up with your great music, all the very best to you and yours, Phil Winter.

Keep bringing wonderful music from your heart and soul to ours and the world. Your bluegrass Gospel songs really hit a place of memories. I am thankful that you are a fixture for the festival, although I do miss Music in the Holler! Until next time Carol and Dustin Akers Columbus Ohio

Hey Johnny,
Good to see another Staats keeping the music fire burning. My project, Dealt The Blues, may be a little different from what you're doing, but my son and I are big NGR and Flecktone fans as well, so I can appreciate what you're doing. If you're ever in the upstate New York area, look me up. Keep on pickin'.
